Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Apprenticeship:-

Educational Qualification:-

1. Candidates must have passed out from the ITI duly recognized by NCVT as per gazette notification of ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship with minimum two years duration except for computer operator & Programming assistant (COPA), painter, plumber, and welder post.

Age Limit:-

• Minimum age required is 18 years.
• Maximum age limit is 27 years.

Relaxation in Age Limit:-

• 3 years relaxation in age limit for OBC categories candidates.
• 5 years relaxation in age limit for ST/SC categories candidates.
• 10 years relaxation in age limit for PwBD categories candidates.

Training Period:-

Training period for this apprenticeship is one year with stipend as per government rules.

Salary or Stipend:-

1. For COPA painter, plumber, and welder post is 7700/- rupees per month.
2. For other Trades 8050/- rupees per month

Important instructions:-

1. Registration of ITI candidates on NCVT MIS portal https://ncvtmis.gov.in is mandatory.
2. Candidates who have passed in the year of 2017/2018/2019 are only eligible.
3. Diploma and graduates candidates are not apply for this post.

Selection Process of DRDO Apprenticeship:-

1. First candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam (ITI).
2. After shortlisting candidates are go for screening test/interview.
3. Date of interview candidates are informed by email or SMS.
4. Interview held at CVRDE Chennai

3. Find the advertisement for CVRDE Apprentice Posts, click on the advertisement.
4. Notification will open then read it carefully and check Eligibility.
5. To apply enter you details correctly and make the payment.
6. Finally click submit button and take the print of the application form.
7. In case of CGPA candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per the university norms.
8. Candidates are requested to bring a printout of application form along with all original documents at the time of interview which is held at CVRDE in Chennai.
