BIS Recruitment Detailed Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational Qualification:

For Technical Assistant

Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Physics/ Bio-Technology/ Food Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Electronics) with minimum 60% marks and (50% for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes).
Or Three years diploma in (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Electronics/ Food Technology/ Metallurgy) with minimum 60% marks and (50% marks for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes).

For Senior Technician

Matric or its equivalent
Industrial Training Institute Certificate in any of the following trades:
Electrician, Air-Conditioning Refrigeration, Mechanic (Diesel– Engine), Fitter, Carpenter, Welder, (the Welder should be also having passed the Welders’ Qualifying Test as per the relevant Indian Standard or its equivalent.
Two years of practical experience in the respective trade after having obtained the Industrial Training Institute certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade.

Age Limit:-

For Technical Assistant – 18 to 30 years
For Senior Technician – 18 to 27 years

Relaxation in Age Limit:-

05 years for SC/ST categories candidates.
03 years for OBC categories candidates.
10 years for PwBD categories candidates.

Post wise vacancies: 50 Posts

Total vacancy is 50

Technical Assistant – 30 Posts
Senior Technician – 20 Posts

Salary:-

35,000/- to 45,000/- rupees per month. This salary is not mention in official notification of BIS job.

No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen/Women and BIS serving Departmental candidates.

Mode of Payment:-
